    BMW R 1250 RT: The Almighty Beast.

    One of the most prominent companies in the automobile industry, well known for luxury cars as well as sports cars. BMW’s motorcycle history began in 1921, sold under the BMW Motorrad brand and sold it’s first-ever BWM R 32 in 1923, which was powered by the boxer-twin engine. Continuing the same tradition of adrenaline pump performance and unmatched style and comfort, the company recently launched the BMW R 1250 RT which is expected to take the company to sky-soaring limits.

    The newly launched model comprises a newly designed sleek chassis along with an all-new ad larger 1254cc boxer twin motor capable of delivering a total power of 136 horsepower and a torque of 143 Nm. The engine is unloaded with features like twin cylinders, liquid cooled and direct fuel injection systems providing unmatched performance so that for every race, you are always ready. The 136 HP engine is tuned to a maximum of 7,750 RPM delivering range and 143Nm at a maximum of 6,250 RPM.

    The engine is optimized with a six gearbox system providing a maximum speed range profile while driving. The fuel tank is capable of storing a maximum of 25 liters of fuel, so you don’t need to refuel the vehicle for a long trip. The front and rear braking are provided by Disc brakes with support of dual-channel ABS(Anti-Braking System). Some additional features of the new BMW R 1250 RT comprise different riding modes, automatic stability control (ASC), hill-start control, power socket and an inbuilt Bluetooth. The maximum speed, as recorded by the model, is 200 Kmph with a pickup time of 3.7 seconds from 0-100 Kmph.

    The chassis is designed with a two-section frame concept consisting of the mainframe with bolt-on rear frame, load-bearing engine. Taking a look at the suspension, the front suspension is made by BMW Motorrad Telelever centralized spring stud with a measured thickness of 37mm. The rear suspension is made out of casting aluminum featuring a single-sided swing arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever. The BMW R 1250 R features a starting price of 15.95 lakhs. (Ex showroom price) For the base version and 22.50 lakhs for the BMW R 1250 RT, which is the pro version. The legend of the brand continues to thrive for the best and challenge the unchallenged.
