We bring to you the all-new famous Pininfarina Battista by the automobile GmbH from Munich, Germany. The roots of the car design head back to the Italian car design firm and coachbuilder Pininfarina SpA.
The name has been dedicated as a tribute to the founder of the company Battista Farina. The unveiling took place at the Geneva Motor Show 2019. The codename that the company has given to it is the PF0, and it has heard that it had planned to produce 150 units of the same only. The assembling work is to be done in Cambiano, Italy. The car has been designed by Luca Borgogno and Carlo Bonzanigo.
The car is an electric sports car of s class and is a two-door body style. The layout is an individual wheel drive. The engine is a four liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous electric motors that have been placed at each wheel type. The battery installed is from the Rimac company of 120 kWh and of lithium nickel magnesium cobalt oxide compound. The electric range of the car has been identified as 451 km or 280 miles.
The car gives a total output of 1400 kW and a torque of 2300 Nm through its 120 kWh. The Battista shares most of its technical components with Rimac c two. The car has got a chassis of monocoque carbon fiber with aluminum crash absorbers fitted into it. The absorbers are provided at the rear as well as the front counterparts. The material has been used in high quantities to keep the weight low. The car has 21-inch wheels of Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
The comfort of the ride is sustained by the adjustable suspension and disc brakes with five drive modes of powertrains for better handling. The steering wheel has two large screens on either side to display vital details to the driver. Interiors are adjustable for the person to personal choice, and the sound system is based on acoustics. The fully charged battery bis kept at the center and allow a ride of 451 km.
The Battista has claimed to go 0 to 100 in 2 seconds and 0 to 299 at 12 seconds with a top speed of 349 km/hrs.
