The launch only edition comes with than 1.6 l four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. It powers a hp of 100kW and 324 Nm. It has an automatic six-speed transmission.
Korea has got an offer of a 1.5 l four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This variant powers 120 kW and 280 Nm. It is available between 1500 and 4000rpm. It is the better of the two Korando.
The Korando is 4450 mm long, 1870 mm wide, and 30 mm shorter and 15mm narrower than the Kia Sportage. The wheelbase is identical for both the models. The local line up begins with the ELX LE. It has got a leather steering wheel, a cruise control, and a color instrument binnacle with a 0.8-inch touch screen and a six-speaker audio system. This all are the standard versions of everything available in the market. You won’t feel cheated but better than any else.
