The people of Maranello woke up this morning in a different mood. They woke up hearing the dulcet tone of the V6 hybrid turbo engine. Yes, it was Charles Leclerc taking SF1000 for a spinon the streets around Ferrari’s famous base. It is three months, or 110 days to be precise when Ferrari last ran the 2020 Challenger. It was days of final pre-testing season days in Barcelona. The car’s engine revived on the t6he heart of Maralleno. And Charles Leclerc drove through the same gates once Enzo Ferrari came into, driving the 125 S. it was then back in 1947.
Leclerc drove past Gestione Sportiva. It is the place where Ferrari’s F1 cars are designed and built and developed since 2015. He went next for the Maranello Museum, the house of range of Ferrari’s built over for the past 73 years. This Monegasque is the only driver to run an F1 through the streets of Maranello. he marked the end of his spin at Via Gilles Villeneuve on his way to Florana. It is Ferrari’s test track for both Road and F1 cars.
Leclerc says he is not accustomed to getting up early, but today it was special. He knows he woke some people around as well. The feeling of getting back on tracks, especially a particular historic one is really satisfying.
