    Hyundai Aura Subcompact Sedan: A True Competition To Major Rivals In The Market

    Counted as one of the major automobile brands in India, the Hyundai Motor Company, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer situated primarily situated in Seoul.

    This automotive giant started it’s footsteps in 1967 and grew exponentially.

    The company now owns 32.8% subsidiary of Kia Motors and owns a luxury subsidiary like Genesis Motor. In terms of sales and manufacturing volume, it is the third-largest vehicle manufacturer in the world.

    This figure will be more clear as Hyundai operates as the world’s largest integrated automobile manufacturing facility which is situated in Ulsan, South Korea which is having an annual production capacity of 1.6 million units.

    The company employs about 75,000 people worldwide.Now coming to the crisp news we are getting from the company that today Hyundai revealed the Aura subcompact sedan which is supposed to be replacing the company’s current line-up Xcent.

    In 2017 the company had updated the Xcent with new features in so this is the only time the next-gen model to make it’s a way to the country.

    According to the sources, the Aura subcompact sedan gets a very familiar front fascia like it’s predecessor along with twin boomerang LED DRLs and they’ve been neatly integrated into the front grille.

    The side profile resembles more like a coupe and it’s solid wheel arches bring out the sporty aspect of the car.

    The big changes we noted were at the rear. The bumper looks a bit appealing and comes with a more sporty bumper design, which is enriched with LED tail lamps which are equipped with a stylish 3-dimensional outer lens. T.

    The model features two petrol and 1 diesel engine, all of which are BS6 compliant certified. The 1.2-liter petrol is capable of producing 82bhp and 114Nm of torque and will be either mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT option.

    For performance enthusiasts, there’s a more powerful version available too with the 1-liter turbo good enough for 99bhp and 172 Nm.

    This engine, however, will only come with a 5-speed manual transmission. There’s a 1.2-liter diesel available to generate 74 bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT.
