Alfa Romeo has confirmed it’s going to start its brand new car for the 2020 F1 year on the first day of testing.
The Sauber-run staff will wheel out its new car at 8:15 am on the first day of pre-season testing, February 19th, in the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain.
RaceFans has heard details of two groups’ launching plans for the new year.
Williams will exhibit their 2020 livery that is authoritative two weeks on February 17th, before the beginning of testing, with last year’s car. The group also intends to reveal images of its 2020 chassis on the internet the same day, and the automobile is going to be viewed for the very first time on the opening day of the test.
Having failed to finish their 2019 automobile in time to the start of testing last year, Williams is keen to avoid a repeat of the exact same 12 months on. The team has had some host changes within the off-season that were reflected in the series car introduced when they declared Roy Nissany as a test drive a week at Israel.
Haas will present their fifth Formula 1 car. The wraps will come off the brand new machine at 8 am, 1 hour before the evaluation starts. The team plans to reveal the images of its new car online in February.
The team will be expected to revert to their own pre-2019 colors of gray having gone last year after their name sponsorship arrangement.
Six other groups have confirmed their 2020 launching programs but when it will disclose its fresh RB16, Red Bull is to confirm. Rumors suggest they are targeting a February 12th launch for the car, which would create Red Bull the second group to present their 2020 machine, after Ferrari.
