A seat belt would have saved 400

A lot of research has been going. And all of them aimed at saving the valuable human race.

According to a survey done by the US traffic crash and a highway safety group, more than 800 passengers rear-seat passengers were not wearing seat belts were killed last year.

And there has been not enough progress in getting people to wear and buckle their seat belts properly and save their own life.

    The reports from the officials!!!

According to the reports from the Governors Highway Safety Association, 400 out of the total killed would be alive if they had their seat belts on.

The association put out a report since 2015. And it tried to draw the attention on rear seat belt use. As per regulations and description, since the reports emerged, only two states have enhanced back seat belt laws.

The group states that 20 states still don’t have rules regarding rear belt use. And out of 30 states with regulations, it is not a primary offence in 11 countries, that means police can’t stop a car if rear-seat passengers are unbelted.

The need of a new Law!!!

The federal government seeks public comment on a rule requiring automakers to warn drivers if rear passengers arena aren’t using belts.

The association recommends that states enact laws allowing police to stop vehicles. When the rear passengers are not using seat belts.

They should aim at publicizing the benefits and pros of buckling up in every seat positions. It also seeks to make automakers install a rear seat reminder in their vehicle.

According to the association, the number of passengers that got themselves killed in crashes dropped from 883 in 2013.

But surveys have also claimed that the rear safety belt use dropped from 78 per cent in 2013 to 76 per cent last year. The previous comment period expired on November 26.

And a law requiring the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to enact the rule. It earlier got attention in 2012.

This is just not the local case but may seek nationwide surveillance and is necessary for public safety.
