The very first season came out two years back and was a hit. It came on Netflix fairly soon then and Netflix after viewing the popularity of the show was smart enough to announce the renewal. The first season had 13 episodes. The forthcoming seasons came from 2018 and 19 comprising 10 episodes and eight episodes each respectively.
The show is all set for the launch of the 4th-year-old. The episodes contained in the 4th year were initially supposed to be a part of the 3rd season itself. However, Netflix chose to split the chapters to make two separate seasons out of the 16 episodes filmed.

Plot
Katie convinces Alexa to find treatment and combat disease.
She begins to get rid of hair because of the chemo and gets gloomy, and stops going to school, and starts hiding. Katie, on finding this decides to chop her off and go bald so that Alexa doesn’t feel lonely.
Season 4 will explore high school life and the challenges as they realize the actual issues in their way.
Season 4 will be around the teenagers as they navigate through their junior and senior high school years while studying anything you can.

But for starters, Netflix has not yet restored Alexa and Katie for season 4 due to yet because year 3 isn’t however complete when the next portion of season 3 premieres items will become brighter and Netflix will pick only afterward.
Season 3 part two will premiere on June 13, 2020, and will include 8 episodes after producing comprehensive the record of the viewership Netflix will come out with the future of this series for a period 4.
If Netflix renews the series for a year, then fans will have to wait longer than ordinary since season 4 will probably take more time to premiere, so we can only expect it to discharge close to the end of 2021.
