Altered Carbon is Sci-Fi and cyberpunk series. The first season was premiered on Netflix on 2 February 2018 and it consists of 10 episodes. The second season consists of 8 episodes which was released on 27 February 2020. The show received positive reviews from the audience.
The show is based on Richard K Morgan’s of the same name. Its story revolves around in a world where consciousness can be transferred to different bodies.
Morgan revealed if everything goes well the show might run for five seasons.

Altered Carbon Season 2 Plot
The storyline of Altered carbon revolves around human consciousness where technology allows human to carry their consciousness from one body to another.
Talking about season 1, in the world of Altered Carbon, a person’s memory and consciousness can be stored in an alien-engineered disk called a cortical disk. And then this disk can be implanted into the back of a person’s neck. Following the concept of Body-swapping, some people decide to swap genders and even split their consciousness into two bodies rather than one.
Now getting on to season 2, it begins with a great 30 years after the end of season 1. Anthony kovacs is now in a new body brought to life by Avengers Alumni Anthony Mackie. Kovacs wants to find his lost love quellcrist falconer (played by Renee Elise Goldsberry).
Kovacs is recruited on a planet called Harlan’s World and e hopes to find falconer. And also he ends up investigating a series of murders that might be connected to her.
