Its first season was released on 7 April, 2013, with 25 episodes; the second season was aired on 1 April 2017 with 12 episodes. The third season was released on 23 July 2018 with 12 events, and later on, more ten episodes were added and released on 29 April 2019.

There is no confirmation about the plot of season 4, but the storyline revolves around the race of Eren’s people was revealed. In season 4, Eren and the Survey Corp will find a way to destroy their greatest enemy, Marley’s nation.
Some fans speculate that season 4 will unveil Eren’s death after they defeat the nation of Marley. The speculation originated from a Twitter post showing Isayama wrote the words, “you are free.” Fans theorized that the phrase points to Eren being free from the curse.
