The BMW X7 is the flagship SUV of the premium carmaker in Germany. The new entry-level xDrive30d DPE trim with a price tag of Rs. 92.50 lakh (all variants, ex-showroom) is now available.
The X7 was released by CBU in India last year. The entire X7 range is now assembled locally via CKD in the region. BMW provides two more models of X7–xDrive30d DPE Signature and xDrive 40i M Sport.
The xDrive30d DPE Signature valued at Rs. 1.03 crores, plus Rs. 98.90 lakhs. So, the xDrive 40i M Sport priced at Rs. 1.07 crores which have also improved from the previous price of Rs. 98.90 lakhs.
The xDrive30d DPE powered by a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder diesel engine that produces 261 BHP at 4000 RPM and 620 Nm of torque at 1500-2500 RPM. So, this engine coupled to an8-speed automatic transmission, channeling the power to all four wheels.
The entry-level trim comes with hardware than the Premium edition but also fits with features such as 7 airbags, ESC, TCS, HDC,7-seat configuration, air suspension, electric rear sunshades, digital instrument cluster, 4-zone climate control, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay, etc.

The all-new BMW X7 launches in India in July of this year, completely sold out within three months of its introduction. Nevertheless, BMW still takes bookings for the X7 and has confirmed that delivery will begin in January 2020. Its prices beginning at 98.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the BMW X7 is a Bavarian carmaker’s flagship SUV or SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) as the brand calls it.
The BMW X7 X 30d diesel marketed in India as a fully detached (CKD) unit, while the X 40i petrol is a fully-built (CBU) unit.
