BMW unveiled the R18 cruiser teaser image that shows the bike on 3 April 2020. At EICMA 2019, the German manufacturer unveiled the R18 cruiser design and many captivated by its sweeping form. Its majestic stance and the huge boxer engine, classic BMW Motorcycle.

It will fascinate to see how and to what point the production version would look like.

The BMW R18 Design uses a flat frame of a cradle form with a new 1800 cc double-cylinder engine.

The flat-twine engines used by BMW Motorrad until the end of the 1960s were its debut. However, it is significantly larger and has a modern air/oil cooling system.

The exposed chromium-plated universal shaft linking the tail wheel to the drive is another visual focus. On the motorcycle, there are no other body panels that remain true to the cruise form.

Likewise, the model bike electronics are limited to starters and lights, emphasizing its purist nature. But we expect BMW. Including ABS and probably the traction control too, to incorporate modern electronic drivers.

The BMW R18 will definitely face the challenge of dealing with Harley-Davidson’s. With the Indian Motorcycling’s stables.

These brands have many devoted fans who swear by their products. That said, many are looking forward to a BMW cruiser as well and we can’t wait for its showcase.

BMW Motorrad works with the Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle in a heavy cruiser engine. The new spy photos show the near-productive motorcycle excavator. So, in the traditional all-American style.

The introduction of the latest technology would potentially differentiate the large BMW Cruiser. With several gizmos that no cruiser motorcycle has seen so far.

There’s thus no flaw in the attempt to target the next BMW cruiser for Harley-Davidson Road Glide, Street Glide, and the Indian Chieftain.

For effortless sailing. The engine will have a six-speed transmission. And an optional reverse gear will also be available.
