Everything about BMW X7 M50d
The German flagship SUV gets its power from a 3.0-liter, in-line six-cylinder, quad-turbocharged diesel engine that produces 400hp and 760Nm of torque. Paring comes as an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, which sends power to all-four wheels via BMW’s xDrive system. The SUV does a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 5.4 seconds and limits its top speed to just 250 km/h.
The new SUV gets a more angular front bumper, a tweaked rear diffuser with larger exhaust ports, and also gets the wheel arches and side skirts finished in body color. The vehicle also gets larger alloy wheels and an M sports exhaust system and M sport brakes to upgrades the capabilities. The M50d also features gloss black trim in place of chrome around the windowsills, the roof rails, and in the front bumper.
The M trims get the SUV an M sport steering wheel, M sport leather upholstery, and illuminated M door sills.
Inside the SUV offers a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and gesture control, Bowers and Wilkins sound system, digital instrument cluster, a three-piece glass sunroof, Laser LED headlights, soft-close doors, five-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, air suspension, wireless charging and reclining function for all three rows of seats.
Safety features like airbags, ABS, traction control, electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, park assist (autonomous parking), a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors will be also included in the flagship.
The Bavarian is set to compete with the likes of Range Rover Sport, Audi Q8, Porsche Cayenne, and the new-gen Mercedes Benz GLS range.
