Car Company Maruti Suzuki Delivers 5000 Vehicles to Customers during Coronavirus lockdown

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has delivered 5,000 vehicles in the last few days. The company has placed extensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for its dealerships across the country. The company has already opened around 1,350 Maruti Suzuki showrooms across the country as well as more than 300 True-Value Outlasts.

Speaking on the beginning of showroom activities for patrons, Kenichi Ayukawa director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India said, “We are happy to serve customers who were waiting to drive their favorite car. Maruti Suzuki has a network in 1,964 towns and showrooms in 2,086 cities. All these will follow the new security protocol. The remaining showrooms will open within the stipulated time if they are not in the control zone or are not specifically restricted by any local guidelines.

The production process started at Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s Gurugram plant (Sector-18, Udyog Vihar) from Monday. On the first day, Eco, Ignis, Alto, and Super Carry models were produced. Worked in the eight to five in the morning shift in the Gurugram plant.
