IS THERE A TRAILER FOR CASTLEVANIA SEASON 3?
The Devil Forgemaster Isaac, Dracula’s most faithful servant, was sent into a faraway desert at the finale for his safety. While there, he used them to create an army and killed a group of raiders. If there’s one character that’ll continue the plans to exterminate humankind in Season 3 of Dracula, it’s Isaac.
Dracula’s former vampire Carmilla that is general has ambitions to fill the power vacuum full of Dracula’s death, and she has forced the other Forgemaster named Hector to subservience. Similar to Isaac, Hector is a necromancer with similar skills.
Every one these characters appear in the Season 3 poster A brown-haired woman and a vagabond who might be Grant Dynasty, a fixture of the games that frequently travels with Trevor and Sypha.
HOW DID THE CASTLEVANIA SEASON 2 FINALE SET UP SEASON 3?
The general plot and characters of this Castlevania animated series come directly from the 1990’s Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. The plot of the game ends with Dracula’s passing now that the series has caught up, it’s entering new territory. In greater Castlevania canon, Trevor and Sypha get married and have children, continuing the Belmont line of warriors. So it is likely that this is not the last we’ve seen of the vampire warlord, Dracula also comes back several times over.
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness (2005) might also provide hints about what’s to come in Season 3. In that story, set three years after Dracula’s death, Hector has relinquished his powers to live among the humans until his wife is killed by Isaac and forces him. Isaac is currently looking like a villain moving ahead, and Hector desires nothing of Carmilla’s plans. Hector needed to face off against Isaac eventually does look inevitable, but it’s far more likely that Carmilla is going to be the antagonist of Season 3.
Carmilla’s part in the show is different from her story in the matches, so there is no telling how her dream could create conflict in Season 3.
HOW MANY EPISODES WILL BE IN CASTLEVANIA SEASON 3?
Deadline reported in October 2018 that Season 3 would be 10 episodes. Season 1 had four, with Season 2 thirds which count to 8. So this is going to be the greatest Castlevania season ever, and it’ll be nearly as long as all the previous episodes assemble.
CASTLEVANIA SEASON 2 IS NOW STREAMING ON NETFLIX WITH SEASON 3 SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE ON MARCH 5, 2020.
