Chevrolet Corvette vs. Porsche 911: Two Cars of Equal Weightage

The Z51 and Carrera S are closer than ever before, Last time when we had the talk, we found the Porsche ass engine and the Chevrolet doing some odd jobs from the 60-year-old kinds of stuff and everything it could and had to. It put the engine behind the driver.
Nine hundred ninety-two got the same color and performance of the 911 with equal weights; it is just the price that differs.
We find most of the Porsche 911 and the Chevrolet Corvette equal on paper. But you see two side by side cars: the Corvette is 4 inches longer, 3 inches wider, and 2 inches lower, barely.
The side lines like the roof line and the front fenders just the xerox of each. Though the Corvette is 209 pounds heavier due to the 3LT interior, the Porsche got the 64 weight on the rear while Corvette does 61.
While the Porsche takes only 2.9 seconds, the Corvette takes just 2.8, making it the quickest factory Corvette to 60 mph in history. The speed carries through the quarter, the Corvette going in 11.1 seconds at 123.2 mph and the 911 in 11.2 seconds at 124.3 and just at the base versions of each car. A lively time to go.

The Porsche feels light and looks quicker while the roll is lost by the Corvette. The hyper drive of Corvette is too smooth to handle and consistent. It just feels the healthy way. Though it is much more sensitive, although both have equally good launch control systems, which can cost enough. The Corvette takes care of the nose as you give a smoke show by grabbing both paddles, giving it the beans, and releasing the paddles to dump the clutch. Porsche makes you buy a GT3 at half again the cost to get that.

So, second place to the Porsche 911 Carrera S with the winning-est model and a complete package, it’s found wanting.
The first place bagged by Chevrolet Corvette Z51, no excuses or compromises for that as the mid-engine is not perfect but close enough.
So, lets wait for another dimension close enough and look and we will be back for the review and your knowledge.
