Features:
DC previously posted photos of what looks like the electric envoy, and the current edition fits the symbol when keeping it up to date. The rendering of the electric Amby is based upon the Hindustan Ambassador. There are some impressive features. Such as the huge chrome grille upfront with the headlamps of the angular LED projector. Whilst the arches of the square wheel give the platform a good feel.
Note the bent front fenders imitating the original version. And the nose-bulge on the bonnet also preserved, adding a familiar look from the original.
For a good and sturdy look, the squared-off wheel arches so flattened at the rear and the roofline bends within the car. This Amby doesn’t by any means aspire to elegant in style and the lightweight proportions feel like something to enjoy in the city.
The rectangular taillights are all LED at the back, while the wide shoulder-line stretches around the boot-lid from the front entrance. The make also uses chrome barring the grill in fine taste, which does look classy. The multi-speak chrome wheels are every bit ostentatious, not to forget.
The Electric Amby is tall, and Dilip Chhabria says that this helped the team to plunge the battery pack into the floor, rendering the center of gravity lower without sacrificing on volume. The prototype version seen here is a two-door. But be confident that the final model will be like the original in four-door shape.
