Netflix’s Deadwind is a popular Finnish show originally titled as Karppi. Nordic noir as a genre is gaining turf among the viewers and has a separate fan base. This new fan favourite series filmed in the beautiful natural scenery of Helsinki, Finland. The first season premiered in Finland on 14 March 2018, and later added to the Netflix’s catalogue. This show was an instant hit and earned many rave reviews for its character is driven story and thrilling plot twists. This character-driven show consists of many subplots set in the backdrop murder mysteries. Season 2 originally released on YLE TV on April 5, 2020, and on 1 July 2020, it premiered on Netflix. Deadwind Season 3 Plot And Cast Details, The Story So Far
A case is assigned to a young Detective who has recently lost her husband. Karppi a recently widowed mother of two returns to her job, she is a police detective. On her return, she takes up murder case of with a new partner. A lady was reported missing later her body was found buried in a remote location. Anna Bergdahl, a social affairs Consultant, is allegedly murdered. Sofia starts her investigation and finds a connection between wind power research firm Tempo and the murder.

Season 2 ended with so many twists the fate of the many characters was revealed in the final moments of Season 2, Jimi Aho was alive. The mystery behind the series of murders of young drug dealers was unveiled those who were responsible, were brought to justice. However, there are some subplots which remain unexplored. Hopefully, there will be a next season which will explore them.
Netflix and Yle TV have made no official announcements yet. Keeping in mind the positive response it received, Netflix may renew it for another season. We can’t make any predictions yet. Hopefully, Sofia will return to solve more brutal murders.
