Dodge launches Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, world’s fastest sedan…

Dodge has been famous for juicing up its cars. Big blocks that have some pretty huge turbochargers peeking up the hood. If not that, the American Muscle manufacturers have into sedans for the geeks out there. And SRT Hellcat Redeye is one of them. But recently something happened and the game has changed. The Redeye treated Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has now become the world’s fastest sedan.

So how did they do that?

For boosting up the already muscular SRT Hellcat, a larger supercharger, strengthened rods and pistons, upgraded fuel system and valves, and a revised transmission was added to the existing system. This gave the SRT Hellcat a raised boost pressure of 14.5 psi.

In addition to being the world’s fastest sedan, the new SRT Hellcat now packs some new features. The SRT chiller system is introduced in 2021 Redeye, which takes the re-routed conditioned air to cool the engine. A newly redesigned hood not only improves the aerodynamic, airflow and also cools the engine. The 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye gets an extra 10-hp boost.

Also, some electronic enhancement has also been made in the system to give it an edge in acceleration.  The Launch control holds the RPMs at a steady rate, and Launch Assist monitors torque outputs once the vehicle is in motion to minimize wheelspin and wheel hop. This allows close to 800 hp on the Redeye model to go through the rear wheels alone better than it has any right to do. But if you do want to spin those rear wheels, Dodge has you covered with line lock, which holds the front brakes while letting the rear axle spin for the ultimate burnouts.
