Fast and Furious is one of the most loved franchises in the world. It is mostly loved for attractive cars, chasing scenes, heists, and much more. There have been a total of eight fast and furious films which have been released while the ninth movie will be releasing next year in 2021.
The first installment of the franchise released in 2001. The second installment titled 2 Fast 2 Furious released in 2003, The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift in 2006, Fast and Furious in 2009, Fast Five in 2011, Furious 6 in 2013, Furious 7 in 2015, and The Fate of the Furious in 2017.
The series has a massive fanbase around the world. It also got its own spin-off with Hobs and Shaw based on the two characters ‘Hobbs’ and ‘Shaw’ in the franchise.
Paul Walker as Brian O’Conner, was one of the most loved characters in the franchise. After the death of Paul Walker in 2013, it was believed that Furious 7 would be the last film of the franchise. However, the makers announced that more Fast and Furious movies will be made. Now, Fast and Furious 10 is being said to be the end of ‘The Fast Saga.’
Fast and Furious 9 Plot:
The film will be the continuation of The Fate of the Furious. Fast and Furious 9 will introduce us to Dominic Toretto’s brother Jakob Torreto, a deadly assassin played by John Cena. Jakob joins hands with Cipher and they cause a massive problem to Dominic and his family.
Fast and Furious 9 Cast:
Many of the original cast of the Fast and Furious franchise will be returning for Fast and Furious 9 too. The cast includes Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Jordana Brewster, and many others. What surprising is that Sung Kang will also be returning in Fast and Furious 9. Sung Kang’s character Han was believed to be dead since the end of Fast and Furious 6. He made an appearance in the trailer of Fast and Furious 9.
Fast and Furious 9 Release Date:
Fast and Furious 9 was all set to release on 22nd May 2020. Even the theatrical trailer of the film was released. However, Fast and Furious 9 has been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the film will be releasing on 2nd April 2021.
