For the 2020 season, McLaren 570S GT4 Race Car gets new hardware

The McLaren 570S GT4 customer race car got a little refresh for 2020 as it gets ready for its fourth race season.

The 2020 570S GT4 is now providing a new endurance braking package, due to McLaren’s ongoing development plan. This promises better braking performance and decreased deterioration. As it focused more on longer endurance events.

Not only does the package include a new six-piston caliper configuration.  It also includes new custom suspension uprights and updated brake disks and pads. The new option is approved for racing from 1 March 2020 and is either available as a factory-fit option. As a retro-fitted feature, meaning existing owners can add it to their cars as well.

Successful Since First Edition:

The McLaren 570S GT4 is fresh from its most successful season since it was first introduced. It finishing 2019 with a 1-2 finish at the 12-Hour Gulf at the Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit. In each of the competitions, it contested during the season. The Mclaren’s famous customer race car won 3 titles and victories.

Ultimately, it is also McLaren’s most successful GT racer ever delivered to date. And the earning 140 podium finishes from last year’s company racing teams. The twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine, coupled to a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission. But it still provides power.

The baby McLaren’s GT4 racing edition priced at £ 180,000 by 2020. The offers including the previously available interchangeable fast-release steering wheel. For an extra £ 600, buyers can install the Sprint Power Upgrade kit. This kit increases the power of the twin-turbo V8 to 540 PS with track driving during homologated racing events.

An immensely strong, feather-light carbon fiber chassis – the MonoCell II. Power comes from a specially built 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged McLaren V8. This will connect to the 7-speed race-ready transmission.
