This series can be classified as drama, black comedy, action, and thriller. It is based on comics book series with the same name created by writer Grant Morrison and artist Darick Robertson. The series was first released on Syfy on December 6, 2017, receiving mostly positive reviews.
BACKGROUND
The story revolves around Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni). Disapproved police detective lives as a social outcast, with the habit of heavy dependence on drinking and somehow manging.
After a setback from a heart attack, he comes into contact with a small, blue, winged unicorn named Happy (an animated character voiced by Patton Oswalt) that apparently only he can see.
Happy explains nick he is the imaginary friend of a little girl named Hailey, who has been kidnapped by a man dressed as Santa Claus (“Very Bad Santa”). Happy also reveals that Hailey is Nick’s estranged daughter, and sought Nick’s aid believing him to be the hero cop that Hailey envisioned him to be. Though not sure at first, Nick reluctantly agrees and the two work to save Hailey.
SEASON 2
Now Happy is has come back with 2 and final season on Syfy. In different region Season, 2 began airing on Syfy, in the US on March 27th and wrapped up in late May 2019.
Regardless of positive reviews from critics and viewers, the series was sadly not renewed for Syfy’s third season.
