Marvel and Sony’s collaborations on Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home were enormous successes for both studios, and lovers have been eager for the seemingly inevitable launch of Spider-Man 3 ever since. Unfortunately, things have been hard on the front. The growing Coronavirus pandemic pushed generation aside and forced the movie to be postponed from the following July to November. Fortunately, however, a new report appears to imply that Spider-Man 3 is being prepped to begin filming this year in September.
The report comes from a casting grid which seems to indicate the film in question is Spider-Man 3. This grid has been found by ComicBook, who’ve explained that it also seems just like Spider-Man 3 will be filming in locations such as New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Iceland.
It is well worth mentioning that it is unconfirmed whether or not the grid belongs to Spider-Man 3. There are not any presented details about the cast, personality descriptions, or even plot. But if Sony and Marvel expect to satisfy their planned launch date for next year, they will have to start shooting soon. Therefore it does make sense that the casting grid would belong to the next Spider-Man movie.
What’s more, the filming will probably begin without Tom Holland initially while he is busy finishing up with another Sony generation — their film adaptation of Uncharted. This would make sense given how active Hollywood will be while things continue to innovate.
Hopefully, we will hear what the official plan is short, and perhaps what we can expect from the following entry in Tom Holland’s take on the beloved superhero personality.
Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man 3 film is scheduled to be hitting theaters next year on November 5, 2021. Stay tuned with us for more other updates!
