Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp has sold 424,845 units in December, down 6.4 percent. The company said in a statement that the company had sold 453,985 units in the same period last year.
Total motorcycle sales in December 2019 were 4,03,625 units as against 417,612 units in December 2018, which was 3.3 percent less. Scooter sales declined by 41.7 percent as compared to 21,220 units in December 2019, compared to 36,373 units in the same period last year.
The company said that domestic sales during December declined by 5.6 percent to 4,12,009 units from 436,591 units in December 2018. At the same time, the export vehicles were reduced by 12,836 units in December 2019 by 26 percent, compared to 17,394 units in the same month last year.
Suzuki Motorcycle
Suzuki Motorcycle clocked 52,351 units of its total sales in December 2019, down slightly from a year earlier. The company sold 52,362 vehicles last year. The company said in a statement that its domestic sales grew by 1.1 percent to 44,368 units in December 2019. In December 2018, the figure was 43,874.
