Domestic carmaker Tata Motors is currently working on its micro SUV Tata HBX. The company showcased this SUV at the Auto Expo 2020 held this year. According to the information, this car will be launched in the market in early 2021.
But earlier, Tata Motors’ Tata HBX Micro SUV has been seen many times during testing, and now this car has been seen once again during testing. It can be seen in this picture released by the motor beam that it is tested mule production-ready.
At first glance, this test looks similar to the concept model displayed at the Mule Auto Expo. Apart from this, the alloy wheels used in this car are sourced from Tata’s premium hatchback Tata Ultra. It is believed that 16-inch alloy wheels have been used in this car.
The split headlamp design used in this car and the rear design is taken from its concept model. Let us tell you that this small SUV of Tata Motors has been built on its Impact 2.0 platform.
Talking about its interior, it can be given a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, cruise control, and Harmon’s audio system. Its steering wheel’s design can be similar to the company’s new cars like the Altrose and Tiago facelift.
Talking about the engine, the Tata HBX can be given a 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine, which produces 86 Bhp of power and 114 Newton meter torque. Automatic and manual gearboxes can be used with this engine. The same engine has also been used in Tiago and Ultrose.
It will have the option of a 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic gearbox. There is little hope that the company will introduce it in the diesel engine. Tata HBX is 154 mm shorter than Nexon, but it is 28 mm and 11 mm more than Nexon in height and width.
