Tuning company 1016 Industries and street artist Alec Monopoly joined forces to create a 720S at the Art Basel occasion in Miami.
The mid-engined British supercar was handed over to Monopoly painted in a shade of white and, before long, the artist got to work transforming the outside together with his spray cans.
One of our favorite facets of the car is the top Monopoly man holding two bags of cash to the driver’s side door. There are also dollar signs across a Richie Rich figure on the passenger side along with much of the exterior.
It remains to be seen when the artist spray-painted about the McLaren‘s paint or if he simply painted over a transparent wrap covering the outside of the car. We hope the latter is exactly what occurred if not, selling this exceptional 720S might be a bit of a challenge later on.
Look past the graffiti and you’ll notice there is a range of other elements distinguishing this 720S from most others. For starters, it is sitting on some set of purple wheels that are stunning. It has been adorned with various carbon fiber parts out of 1016 Industries, such as a carbon rear diffuser, front splitter, side skirts, fenders, wing mirror caps, rear wing, along with a hood. These new parts provide the supercar a sporty look and aren’t over-the-top.
“The chance to work with an artist of Alec Monopoly’s quality developing a distinctive piece of artwork that highlights our newest 1016 Industries McLaren 720S is a real honor,” 1016 Industries chief executive Peter Northrop stated. “Monopoly’s job is nothing short of iconic, and we’re extremely pleased to work together on this very special vehicle.”
