WHAT PLOT IS THE ANIME BASED UP ON?
The plot is based upon Gods who could survive only with people’s belief. The protagonist here in our anime is also a God named Yato. Unfortunately, he is an unrecognized God and hence he takes every possible step in order to gain recognition. He finds one way of building up a shrine to satisfy his intentions. So he listens to the prayers of the individuals and answers them in return of 5 yen. This money he collects is for the shrine. While on his mission of building up a shrine, he meets a girl Hiyori Iki who saves his life from accident. Thereafter, she helps him to collect and save money.
There are various evil souls that always create mess for the Gods in order to gain power. This way the story becomes interesting to watch and curiosity of wanting more is maintained.
