About Overlord series
Overlord is a light novel series by Kugame Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. Its chapters have been released since 2010, with fourteen volumes outside since 2012. Along with this, a manga series by Satoshi Oshio is also being printed since 2014. The anime series covered light novels. Two animated movies also have been outside that serves as a compilation of the first season of the anime.
The story is about Momonga, the guild leader of Ainz Ooal Gown guild, who’s a virtual character in a virtual reality RPG match YGGDRASIL. After 12 years, the game is going to be shut down. With 37 of the 41 members leaving, he invites them all for once. However, with an almost dead response, he accepts the fact and remains till the shutdown.
However, Momonga finds that the sport has not gone. He and his headquarters, Nazarick seems to move to an alternate reality. All the NPC now have awareness of the own, and he is stuck in his avatar. So begins his journey to find out what has occurred and if there is anyone else that faced the same thing.

The first season aired in 2015, together with just two compilation films in 2017, summarising the first season. In Early 2018, the next season aired, using a third season in Mid-2018. All 3 seasons have 13 episodes each, with each season covering three light novels.
Along with this, a light-hearted crossover anime Isekai Quartet began airing in 2019. The series shows chibi versions of characters from Overlord, KonoSuba, Re: Zero — Beginning Life In Another World, and Saga of Tanya that the Evil. Release Date and Story Updates for Overlord
Since the next season covered volumes 7 to 9, the fourth year will begin off from volume 10. Since Maruyama intends to finish the series with volume 17 and 14 are out, there is sufficient content for even a fifth season.
