Crime dramas have been shooting television by storm, therefore it’s not surprising that Ozark, a series created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, is performing spectacularly on Netflix. The show stars Jason Bateman who portrays a financial planner, Marty Byrde, who relocated his family following a money-laundering scheme that goes wrong. Amends must be made by byrde to the drug cartel by assembling a larger laundering operation in the Ozarks.
In October, Ozark was renewed. Not much information has been published for Ozark’s new season, we simply know it’s going to be published sometime in 2019.
With the details surrounding season 3 of Ozark, fans are left to speculate what’s going to happen with Marty Byrde along with his loved ones. We are aware that season two finished with the family getting entangled in ventures. Marty started a casino boat, which he will use to launder millions of dollars for the drug cartel. We are only assuming this will be a big part of year three.
Besides the giant casino ship, the series left. We are aware that a mysterious gunman captured Cade Langmore, and there were lots of individuals who wanted him dead which might have killed him. Officer Roy Petty, so the Feds will have a reason to get to the bottom of what is happening in the Ozarks was also killed by cade.
Also, we have little detail of the fact that his wife Wendy has decided to be involved in money laundering and created direct communications with the cartel via her attorney and Marty’s affair with Rachel. During a board at Hollywood Chris Mundy did provide one hint to year three only stating”Wendy”. This can imply that Wendy will have a much larger role to play in year three then she failed in the past two seasons.
Mundy also offered a short tease for season three saying:
“Ozark season 3 to us is about what keeps you secure and whether hiding keeps you safe or attacking keeps you secure. In other seasons, between Season 1 and Season 2, surely we left with a great deal of plot we had to reply, and we did not abandon ourselves with a great deal of plot to reply for in Season 3. It’s more psychological within; everything is written by us. So, for us, it’s all about that marriage.”
Ozark is believed to go meaning we are going to see season 3 premiere. Season 1 premiered and season 2 premiered in August 2018, so the production timeline is leaning towards a fall release date.
Year Ozark received five Emmy nominations. Ozark is expected to become a leading Emmy contestant in 2019 particularly since Bateman won the Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in the show and the series earned its first Best nomination as well.
Season 1 and two of Ozark are currently flowing at this time on Netflix.
