Pennyworth is an American crime drama TV series created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger based on DC Comics. The show has so far completed one season and made its debut on July 28th, 2019. The series was premiered on Epix and got a rating of 72% from Rotten Tomatoes and 8/10 from IMDb. Season 1 of Pennyworth consists of 10 episodes. The series got moderate reviews from the audiences. The executive producers of the show are Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon. The storyline involves Alfred is a former SAS soldier. He goes to work for Thomas Wayne after forming his own security company. It’s all set in 1960s London.

As we know Alfred Pennyworth has a long way to go before he can become Batman’s butler. Season 1 has mostly focused on battling the Raven society, so in season 2 Alfred is likely to be put in danger. Another big unresolved mystery that is yet to be solved in season 2 is what happened between Martha and the Satanist cult leader. Same as season 1, in season 2 also we will explore Thomas and Martha’s relationship. Season 2 will pick up after the instances that happened in season 1 of Pennyworth.
Pennyworth Season 2 Release Date
Pennyworth has officially announced the renewing of the series for the 2nd season on October 30th, 2019. Like season 1, season 2 will also consist of 10 episodes. The filming of the series began in early 2020 and the production is planning to premiere its 2nd season in the late 2020s. Reports say that the production of season 2 will end somewhere around august or September. And season 2 is expected to be released from October – November 2020.
