Royal Enfield has recently launched Royal Enfield Himalayan BS-6 in the Indian market and we are telling the comparison of this bike with the recently launched KTM 390 Adventure in India. Here we will tell you about the features and specifications of both these bikes, from the dimensions etc.

Engine and power

Talking about the engine and power, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has a 411cc single-cylinder, 4 strokes, SOHC, air-cooled, fuel injection engine which is 24.3 Bhp at 6500 Rpm and 32 Nm torque at 4000-4500 Rpm. Generates. This bike has a digital ignition system. Speaking of the gearbox, this bike has a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

In terms of engine and power, the KTM 390 Adventure is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder engine that generates 32 kW of power at 9000 Rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 7000 Rpm. On the other hand, the engine of this bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.


Speaking of suspension, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has telescopic, 41 mm forks, 200 mm travel and linkage in the rear, mono-shock suspension with 180 mm wheel travel.

Talking about the suspension, the KTM 390 Adventure has 170mm travel suspension in the front and 177mm travel suspension in the rear.

Braking system

Talking about the braking system, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has a 300 mm disc at the front, a 2-piston floating caliper brake and a 240 mm disc single-piston floating caliper brake at the rear. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS.

Talking about the braking system, the KTM 390 Adventure K has a 320mm disc brake and a 230mm disc brake in the rear. This bike has off-road ABS and Corning ABS.


Talking about dimensions, Royal Enfield Himalayan has a wheelbase of 1465 mm, ground clearance 220 mm, length 2190 mm, width 840 mm, height 1360 mm, seat height 800 mm, curb weight 199 kg and fuel tank of 15 liters.

Talking about dimensions, the steering head angle of KTM 390 Adventure is 63.5 ┬░, ground clearance 200 mm, seat height 855 mm, weight 158 kg and fuel tank 14.5 liters.
