Sherlock is another one of the many adaptations of Doyle’s crime novels and has won several accolades from the Emmys – in its run to the BAFTAs to the Golden Globes. Everybody has learned about Sherlock Holmes- a genius detective who resides in Baker’s road. People have been so fascinated with him that some have even ventured out to find him thinking he is not a fictional character. This variant of Sherlock Holmes surfaced in 2010, and seasons have arrived after about a gap of 2 season. It even had a Christmas episode in 2013 and 2016. Sherlock’s fourth season – and last as of today – beamed back in 2017, and fans had expected a new year in 2019, but unfortunately, Sherlock didn’t return with the year.
Sherlock Season 5: Is it happening?
Back in January 2014, Moffat said that the fifth’s plot had been planned and thought upon by himself and Gatiss, however they were unsure about producing it. Moffat and Benedict Cumberbatch have both shown interest in continue to work in Sherlock, but there aren’t any such plans as of today. There has been no renewal information of Sherlock.

Due to the contradictory schedule of Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) and Martin Freeman (Dr. Watson), the shooting of Sherlock is full of troubles. There is not any idea when the season of Sherlock will air.
