January 6, 2026 marked another pricing revision in the Indian car market as Skoda updated its portfolio. The Kylaq subcompact SUV received a uniform price increase across variants. The change follows similar actions by several manufacturers. Updated prices are now effective nationwide for buyers.

2026 Skoda Kylaq Price Revision Announced

Skoda Auto India confirmed a price hike for the Kylaq subcompact SUV in January 2026. The revision applies to all manual and automatic variants. Updated prices came into effect immediately across dealerships. The Kylaq now starts at Rs 7.59 lakh ex showroom.

The top model is now priced at Rs 12.99 lakh ex showroom. The previous prices were between 7.55 lakh and 12.80 lakh. The increment in price is different with the level of trim. The smallest revision is Rs 4,349. The maximum revision is up to Rs 19,295.

The company adhered to industry price trends. Prices have been modified by the manufacturers following the increased cost of running the business. Cost of raw materials and currency flow are the crucial factors. The Kylaq in India is still the cheapest Skoda model.

Variant-Wise Price Changes Explained

The manual version with a 1.0T Classic now retails at 7.59 lakh ex-showroom. This was the variant that experienced the least increment of Rs 4,349. The Signature 1.0T manual has now become costly by 9.10 lakh. Its price increased by Rs 10,000.

Signature plus 1.0T manual attracts a price of 10.44 lakh now. In this version, it was more expensive by Rs 10,357. Prestige 1.0T manual has increased to 11.99 lakh. Its price rose by Rs 15,341.

Auto versions got increased more in the line. The Signature 1.0T automatic has increased to an Rs 10.10 lakh. This reflects a hike of Rs 10,000. The Signature Plus automatic has now gone to 11.44 lakh.

The greatest increase was on the Prestige 1.0T automatic. It has now become priced at Rs 12.99 lakh ex showroom. This type was more expensive by 19,295 ruin dollars. All the prices quoted are ex-showroom prices.

Engine Options And Segment Position

The Skoda Kylaq 2026 has continued with a single powertrain that is petrol-powered. It has a 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged engine. It has a power output of 115 bhp and 178 Nm. Buyers have the option to have manual and automatic transmission.

A six-speed manual gearbox is provided as standard. It also has a six-speed automatic transmission. The SUV has got Normal and Sport driving modes. These modes vary throttle response when driving.

The Skoda Kushaq has a similar design cue with the Kylaq shares. It falls in the competitive subcompact SUV category. The major competitors are Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. There are also competitors, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.

Although the price is going to be higher, the Kylaq will be positioned competitively. The new pricing is in line with the segment averages. Consumers have become more price-conscious in addition to features and performance. The new prices are based on the prevailing market conditions in India.
