As season 3 of this fan-favorite is streaming on Netflix, the production of its season 4 is currently underway. So here’s all that we know about the year four as of today of The Crown!
Season 4 reportedly began filming in August 2019. This filming was scheduled to end by February 2020. But with the pandemic, this show’s production has been stopped. It was determined that the series would hit on the screens by 2021.
The coronavirus has forced this show to be all the more delayed, probably by early or mid-2021’s launch.
The group of The Crown intends to recast its throw every two seasons. So Oliva Colman, who plays Queen Elizabeth and Helena Bonham Carter, who plays with Princess Margaret, will reunite the show in year 4. Emma Corrin will perform the function of Princess Diana.
What’s Going To Happen In Season 4?
The last season had finished with the Silver Jubilee of the Queen in 1977. Viewers would see the disagreements between the Queen and Margaret Thatcher in the season about the areas of apartheid in South Africa, the miners’ strike in 1984-1985, and 1982’s Falkland War.
Margaret Thatcher would be publicly humiliating the Queen because she outs the KGB spy. And audiences would have to see the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. There is also the part about Michael Fagan, who broke into the palace and reached the Queen’s bedroom after several security compromises.
