Vauxhall Motor Limited is a British car manufacturer, dating history as old as 162 years, firstly as Alex Wilson Company to Vauxhall Ironworks in 1897 and finally achieving a milestone as Vauxhall Motor company in the year 1903.

Vauxhall has been recorded as the second-largest selling vehicle in the UK for more than two decades. The Corsa E was debuted long ago at 2014 Paris motor show but is expected to undergo in production stage very soon.

The new model Corsa-E is rumored to engage a new handling experience from an all-new platform, giving an accurate torque vectoring and vehicle driving experience. Vauxhall’s best selling Corsa is available for the first time with an electric motor, which is rumored to feature a range of more 200+ miles.

The New electric model is one of the first three fully battery operated models to arrive in 2020.

According to the companies report, Vauxhall confirms that all it’s cars are set to all-electric in some form by 2024.

The upcoming model is power-packed by a 50kWh lithium-ion battery pack prepared by packing 216 individual cells in series, which is capable of charging up to 80% in 30 minutes using a fast rapid charger of 100kW.

With a normal charger, the charging rate is expected to be five hours for fulling the battery pack from zero to full, with a 3 phase 11kW/16amp, which is easily attainable by charging the car overnight. While using a single-phase 7.4kW AC charger, expect the charging to complete in 8 hours 30 minutes approximately.

The company additionally gives you a unique feature of monitoring vehicle pre-condition prior to driving as well as charging status with the help of a mobile application.

With the help of this application, the user can also schedule the vehicle’s charging time accordingly. The Corsa-E is power by a 136Hp Electric motor with a maximum of 260Nm of torque.

The model can accelerate up-to 0-31mph in just 2.8 seconds and 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds. The top speed is reported to be 93mph as tested by the company during trial tests. The model will be supporting three driving modes available in the form of Eco, Normal and sports mode which are capable of delivering a specific range of power according to the needs of the driver. The expected price of the model is expected to be around 29,990 to 33,310 euros.
