2020 Ford Bronco R : Modified Version Of First-Gen Bronco

The word Bronco R has many emotions attached to it as it marks the historic Baja 1000 win from 1969. Manufactured by Ford, the Bronco R model ruled the off-road motorsport race Baja 1000. It left the market in 1996, but it always had a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts who loved it. But the good news is that the beast is ready to hit the market again, Ford announced the Bronco’s eventual return at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit back in 2017, and the announcement was made that the model will again hit the race track within two years. Now the model is ready to be launched making the 50th anniversary of Bronco R Baja 1000 win more special.

It will inherit its features from Jeep Wrangler, Toyota 4Runner, and many competent off-roaders, and would prove to be a real champion on the toughest terrain. Some of the features that catch your attention on the first glance are like solid front and rear axles and an “Air Roof.”

It has been hinted many times that the final look inspiration for 2020 Ford Bronco comes from Ford’s Brazilian Troller, which you can easily make out when you have a look at its shape. A tapered roof and a spare wheel mounted out back leave you to dumbfound. Now talking about what’s new under its hood, it is expected that it will be powered by a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, which produces 270 horsepower (201 kilowatts) and 310 pound-feet (420 Newton-meters) of torque in the Ranger, paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The newly added feature which adds to the curiosity of Bronco lovers is the reports of it having possibly a removable hardtop and doors. Ford is planning to target the jeep market also apart from it being designed as an all-terrain vehicle. The approximate cost of 2020 Ford Bronco R can be estimated as $30,000 in the United States, and it is likely to debut in spring of 2020.

Driving the 2020 Bronco R would be an excellent treat for ATV lovers, and everyone is hoping that this new model will follow the footstep of it’s and would be able to earn the same fame as the old Bronco did.
