    Plot

    The series revolves around Elena, a middle-schooler navigating the ups and downs of her academic life with the help of family and a friend, while on her journey to become the future President of the United States of America, all the while documenting the pivotal events in her trusty diary. Comparable to Season 1, the sophomore conduct of the series will include 10 episodes.

    Cast

    Tess Romero is an actress, famous for Blindspot (2015), Anya (2019) and This is Life (2020). She plays with Elena Canero-Reed in the series’ role.

    Rodriguez is famous for winning the hearts of everyone with the portrayal of the titular character on the telenovela,’Jane The Virgin’. She appears in a recurring guest character and Elena in the series play with an adult.

    Selenis might be known by you for portraying the character of Gloria Mendoza on all 7 seasons of the hard-hitting prison drama of Netflix’Orange Is The New Black’. She plays the character of Elena’s mother, Gabi, at the series. She’s also the author of a memoir that she penned with her sister Marisol, titled’My Sister: How Both’ Changed Us.

    Weaver plays Sam Faber, somebody who works at the law firm since Gabi’s role and the two develops a relationship. Bushnell plays with Elena’s brother in the show and this is his first acting job.

    Showrunners

    Keith Heisler and Ilana Pena function as co-showrunners of the series. Gina Rodriguez doubles up as an Executive Producer on the show.
