Kia Carnival has been Installed in three Versions
Kia Motors India on Wednesday launched a premium multi-utility car Carnival having an opening price tag of $24.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Kia Carnival was installed in three versions – superior, prestige and the limousine model, which sits on the peak of the range and comes for $33.95 lakh.
Together with the Carnival versions, Kia aims to tap the demand for top MPVs across company fleets and young entrepreneurs, a section that’s presently dominated by Toyota Innova Crysta.
Kia Carnival range will be powered with a 2.2-liter BS6 petrol engine. The business received over 1,400 reservations for the automobile.
The company also unveiled its compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Sonet, which is expected to be established later this year. Kia Sonet will contend with the likes of sub-4 meter SUVs such as Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Amongst Others.
Kia’s involvement in the compact SUV segment, a passenger vehicle category that is quick growing , just underlines its aim to ramp up market share and its quantities .
Once commercially launched, Kia Sonet will come packaged with a 10.25-inch infotainment and navigation system with UVO Connect, a Bose premium sound system, and a smart manual transmission (IMT), the company said in a statement.
The company also showcased Seltos X-Line Concept, a rigged version of this midsize SUV in the Auto Expo 2020, which has fetched impressive costs during the downturn to the carmaker.
