Ducati has started the bookings of its Panigale V2 superbike in India, with a deposit of Rs 1 Lakh.
After teasing with a beautiful, lively Rosso paint job on a Panigale V2, the company will start booking and hence initiate the deliveries after its imminent launch.
Ducati Bike had globally unveiled the Panigale V2 at its World Premiere last year as a replacement of the Panigale 959. The middle-weight supersport Bike boasts of design closely similar to its larger sibling, the Panigale V4. There’s a dual-pod LED headlamp with eyebrow-like LED DRLs housed within an angular fairing. The sculpted fuel tank nicely blends with the contorted fairing while the high-set floating tail completes its styling.
It will pack a fiery 995 cc L-twin, Superquadro motor of the V2, that churns out 155bhp and 104Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a quick bi-directional shifter. All the information is displayed on a 4.3-inch TFT dash, while other electronic aids include traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake control, and wheelie control.
Ducati Bike is expected to price the Panigale V2 with a considerable premium over its predecessor, 959, which was pegged at Rs 14.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
