Jeep Compass is offering massive discounts of its BS6 variants, shocking but true.
The mid-size SUV Compass was launched in the Indian market only last year. Both petrol and diesel versions of the Compass is now BS6 compliant. Other changes to the trim levels and the Compass is now available in Sport Plus, Longitude, Longitude Plus, and Limited Plus trim. Jeep is now offering exclusive limited period offers on the Longitude Plus variant of the popular SUV.
The petrol version hosts a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that generates 160 Bhp and 250 Nm of torque while the diesel variants host a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit that generates 170 Bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The offer is a limited automatic gearbox option in the petrol variant while manual transmission of a diesel variant.
The petrol automatic version of Longitude Plus attracts up to Rs 1.68 lakh, and the Longitude Plus diesel (manual transmission) benefits up to Rs 1.79 lakh. This, according to the post, is a limited period offer. The Compass holds a straight rivalry with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector.
