Dead to Me fans will be relieved to know that a season is arriving on Netflix quite soon.
The first ended on a cliffhanger after widowed Jen found out that had been responsible for her husband’s departure.
What Happened In Dead To Me season 1?
After striking up an unlikely friendship with Judy Hale (Linda Cardellini), widowed Jen Harding (Christina Applegate) is horrified to discover that she had been responsible for her husband’s death.
Flashbacks in year 1 confirm that Jen’s husband Ted was killed by Judy in a hit-and-run incident, and she had been hiding it.
But things become more complex as the season finishes with Jen standing over the body of Judy’s ex-fiance Steve Wood (James Marsden) with a gun in her hand.
What Should We Expect In The New Season?
Season two will pick up following a whirlwind first season, along with the first order of business is the thing to do about Steve’s dead body floating in the pool.
It looks as though their friendship will continue for better or for worse.
Series founder Liz Feldman told Entertainment Weekly, “What I will say is that [season 2] will probably be on the further exploration of the friendship between these two women.”
“In the most basic manner, the score was evened. What I wished to do was create a scenario where they’re forced together, and they need each other now in some ways more than they did at the start of season 1”
Is There a Trailer For Dead To Me season 2?
Yes! Netflix has shared with an official trailer and it provides us a flavor of what to expect.
If the trailer is anything to go by, Judy and Jen are struggling with the wake of the death of Steve.
With the FBI sniffing around the pair are likely to need to be careful.
The trailer teases some frightening stuff, such as can’t know what you did’ message spray-painted on the garage of Jen. But who put that there?

As there is a confirmed release date 8th May there’s not long to wait now.
