Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which translates into Blade of Demon Destruction is an anime adaptation of a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. It’s set in Taishō-era, Japan. The storyline follows the narrative of Tanjiro Kamado, a youthful, kindhearted boy living with his family in a mountain. He is the sole breadwinner of the household and has lost his dad. He provides for his family by promoting charcoal in the village at the mountain’s base. But, his life takes a turn when he returns home to find his entire family, but his sister Nezuko survives- but with a catch- she has become a demon but still shows some understanding of basic human emotions. Thereafter, they then embark on a trip and avenge his loved ones.
The anime first premiered with 26 episodes to September 28, 2019, from April 6. The end of the Season promised a sequel movie is currently continuing with where the story finished.
