The Netflix original, Messiah, is undergoing numerous controversies regarding its new season. The creators suppose this show to be an average one. This show was unable to meet their expectations.
RATINGS OBTAINED BY THIS STORY:
The fans have liked and appreciated the show. It has successfully obtained a rating of 7.7 out of 10 from IMDb. It is also found that 91% of the google users have liked the series.
The problem arises with the ratings of Rotten Tomatoes which is only 44%. This could be assumed as the main concern of the creators. They might think it as a risk to work on the sequel of such series.
STORY OF MESSIAH:
The story of the Messiah is mainly based upon two characters Al- Masih (played by Mehdi Dehbi) and Eva Gellar (played by Michelle Monaghan), who is a CIA officer by profession.
The American thriller exhibits the doubtful nature of Eva towards this extremely different and strange character of Al-Masih. She is shown to be very determined in finding out and unveiling his actual intentions.

Al-Masih:
He is the lead character of the series. He is shown to possess a very divine character. People assume him to be another avatar of Lord Christ on this planet.
Eva Gellar:
She is a very smart and intelligent officer of the Central Intelligence Agency. This is the reason behind her having the task to reveal the identity of Al-Masih.
