A Netflix Original comedy American sitcom created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris. This show has bagged many nominations and awards like Golden Globes Award nomination and five times primetime Emmy award nominations. Netflix has become more and more aversive toward series renewals, It’s one of the few fortunate shows on Netflix which are getting continuously renewed for consecutive seasons. The sixth season of the series was released on 15 January this year. After it’s successful run of 5 years and 6 seasons, this series is finally moving toward the final season.

Grace and Frankie season 7 revolves around the two natural rivals of the Grace(Lily Tomlin) Frankie(Jane Fonda). Everything changes when they discover their husband Sol(Sam Waterston), Robert(Martin Sheen) have fallen in love with each other. As their husbands decide to get married, they must support and condole each other. This series indeed has strong female lead characters. It has cast so many great actors in lead roles, with many oldtimers reuniting on the screen.
The season 6’s 13 episodes were premiered on 15 January 2020. At the end of the season, Horace and Frankie discover that Robert and Sol are living in the beach house, they are homeless. We are eagerly waiting to see what happened after Robert and Sol’s Honeymoon. The journey of the Frankie, what difficulties she would face to become independent. Season 7 is confirmed, everything we know so far about the final season
All the lead actors will reprise their roles in the next season. Netflix had officially renewed the series for the final season on 24th September. But the production of the series was halted due to the pandemic. No date is revealed for the premiere. But the final season is expected to hit Netflix in early 2021 following the suit, but there can be slight discrepancies as we are waiting for the official announcement.
As each season of this series has 13 episodes, but unexpectedly the next season will have 16 episodes, three more episodes than other seasons. But it’s understandable because the next season is the final season of the series.
