Renewal Update
Unfortunately, the series is not renewed for a second season by Netflix. It will be too early for the streaming giant to announce a new season. Normally, Netflix takes a few weeks to analyze the numbers of viewers along with the ratings of this season then order new episodes.
But another season will surely happen because fans are demanding more episodes. Ryan Murphy also hinted towards the options of season 2 lately. On his Instagram webpage, he responded to his lover question concerning the second season; afterward, he said in a statement: ‘Hollywood was established as a limited series, but it has become so powerful that everybody is asking for a different season. So who knows? I sure do enjoy this cast, though.’
Release Date
Now, Murphy himself hinted that the next season could happen; if Netflix orders a fresh season, then it will take a long time to release. There’ll be a problem in the production because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Already Netflix had ceased the production on several jobs for safety reasons, so at this moment, filming isn’t possible in the next season.
But when it happens, we could expect it to discharge in late 2021 or ancient 2022 as per the sources.
