Kriesel being the supplier of electric kits for World Rallycross Championship 2021

The exciting news about the world Rallycross championship is that Austrian Kreisel being the supplier of electric kits.
This statement was declared on Friday, by FIA after discussion with World Motor Sports Council. Kriesel has chosen to supply teams with an electric kit for the coming three years i.e. from 2021-2024.
This kit consists of 52.65 kwh battery enhanced with the innovative cooling system, which produces 500 kw (680 hp). It also comprises of two 250 kw motors for the axles and two inverters.
The first prototype of this kit is provided by March 2020 allowing the orders from April. The teams participating in the world Rx championship needs either to retrofit this kit to supercars or to build the cars with the support of Kreisel.
The pricing has made it to £300,000 with support of four years in building up the car. This support package consists of a price of £100,000.
