Legacies is an American fantasy drama TV series created by Julie Plec. It was first premiered on The CW on October 25th, 2018. The series has so far completed its 2 seasons. Season 2 was first aired on October 10th, 2019 and both 1 and 2 have 16 episodes. Legacy is a part of the Vampire Diaries Universe. The series got a rating of 8.9/10 from TV.com and 7.5/10 from IMDb. The fans loved the show. The Legacies is continuing with the enduring legacy left by The Originals and The Vampire Diaries.
Legacies Season 3 Cast

Legacies Season 3 Plot
Legacies Season 2 went on hiatus in March, with episode 16, “Facing Darkness is Kinda My Thing” being the last episode to air on The CW. Production on the 2nd season of The Vampire Diaries spinoff was suspended in March amid the coronavirus outbreak. As a result in episode 16 of the previous season, we saw Hope journey into Losie’s subconscious was the last episode to air at this time and there’s no set information about when the series might return. Creator Julie Plec had tweeted earlier last month that episode 16 was the last episode they completed before the shutdown adding that the episode’s cliffhanger could make a fun accidental season finale. However, episode 16 is not going to be the season 2 finale. The current plan is the Legacies to return to finish up the season once production can resume later this year.
Legacies Season 3 Release date
In January 2020 Legacies was officially renewed for a third season. Initially, it was expected that Legacies season 3 will be out by October 2020.
