Racing Point to take Into Competition with New F1 rules

With the set of new F1 race rules coming to the surface, there is hope to many. We can hear the smacking lips of many smaller companies and teams to come into the competition. Talking of the near future, teams like that of Racing Point are having dreams of sharing the podium and winning races. Racing Point Director Andrew green seems very confident of his team winning the races, and being at an advantageous position, with the new set of rules to be in effect. In one of the recent interviews, after the announcement of even lower caps for F1 races, even below 175 million dollars, Green said that they were ready to capitalize on the racing section. They are ready to go against the big three, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull.

It is obvious that this company is going with the brand name Aston Martin, with the new CEO Lawrence Stroll. This may need even a greater workforce from 450 to 800. But green declined to say it was true if the situations were alike year back. But now, it won’t be that way. He believes the big teams are now going to be dinosaurs. And what his teams require is being lean, efficient, and small. That is what his strength comes from. The trick now is, with new rules, the said companies are not going to be big anymore. They will be somewhere near their level. Racing Point looks back to 1991 – their roots with Jordan team, Green being in situ with the team.
