With an exceptional top-peak success of Royal Enfield in India, the company had already aimed for the International market. The Royal Enfiled has been popular amongst the Indian youth in above the 300cc segment. In June 2020, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has heated BMW R1250 GS and took the title of the best-selling motorcycle in the UK.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is accompanied by its twin, Continental GT650, which are first modern-day multi-cylinder motorcycles and are manufactured, then exported in the European markets. Both the bikes fit in a 648cc, parallel-twin, air-cooled, 8-valve, SOHC, fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum power of 47 Bhp and peak torque of 52 Nm.
