Royal Enfield Meteor 350 set to launch in June 2020

If only spying would reveal everything, then wouldn’t we have known about the upcoming. Not talking about the end of the earth, but definitely end of the wait for new Royal Enfield bikes. If you would have tuned with us from a while ago, you would have seen the spy shots of the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350. But we got to know that the launch is very nearby.

Lucky are those who would have got to test the bike. All we know is that the Meteor is set to launch this month, anytime soon, but hope it gets after this gets published. Anyways, the upcoming Enfield will have a 350 cc engine base, but it will have more power and torque. It will be based on an all-new J-platform (J1D, to be precise). The engine, to be precise will be a 350cc air-cooled one, delivering 19.3 PS/28 Nm. The same will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox replacing a 5-speed one. A new double downtube frame will be more rigid and would handle everything the biker dares.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will equip telescopic forks, dual gas-charged shock absorbers, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, and disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment. The Meteor 350 could also get a slipper clutch. Other feature for Meteor 350 will include semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth. Royal Enfiled has yet not teased the fanbase with official announcements but the spied photos of prototype testing were enough of a treat for us.

. It will replace the discontinued Thunderbird X. Upon launch, it will compete with likes of Jawa, Benelli Imperial 400 as well as the Bajaj Dominar.
